Juliet 3 Years Old!

My gorgeous, sweet, sweet girl! You are THREE!!! HOW is that possible?!? You bring so much joy to our family. You are so sweet natured and your sweet innocence just melts your daddy and me.

You are 34 pounds and tall for your age! You're catching up to your big sister quickly! You two are such sweet friends. We thank God that he gave you to each other as built in best friends. I pray that you always have a close and sweet friendship. Every night we put you two together in the same room for bedtime. Many nights, however, we have to take you out and put you back in the nursery so that you both actually get some sleep. You two want to play all night! Once you're alone, you usually go right to sleep. You're a good sleeper and I'm grateful. In the mornings you wake up well and are so sweet and cute coming down the stairs for an immediate cuddle.

You LOVE to cuddle. I think you would be happy to be carried around on top of mommy constantly. But you are also just fine with your independence. You started school this fall and you love it! When I pick you up you always tell me about your day as soon as you get in the car. "I played with toys! I saw my friends! I ate a snack!" I love your enthusiasm and how you had absolutely no problem jumping right into school.

You love your toys and stuffed animals. The favorite of the moment varies from day to day, but you always take great care to have them with you especially at bedtime. You also love doggies! Sometimes you stand at your bedroom window in the morning just to watch people walking their dogs. Then you come downstairs and tell me what color doggies you saw!

You love to be active, and I like that about you! You enjoy swinging, running "very fast!", sliding, throwing balls, and riding your bike. You started your first soccer practice and are inconsistent with your participation, but always talk very animatedly about it when you get home. I think you enjoy going to an activity just like your big sister.

You are a good friend and enjoy being social. You ask to go to Maddie and Penny's house frequently. Whenever Olivia is sad, it really bothers you and you try to make her feel better. Sometimes you sneak her books when she is in timeout in her room. Sometimes, you just hold her hand through the crack in the door. I love watching you play with Olivia and with your friends.

Some of your favorite things at the moment are PJ Masks, Frozen anything, singing and dancing to Shake Your Wiggles Out, the PJ Mask Theme song, Humpty Dumpty on Alexa ("Awexa, play Humpy Dumpy!"), coloring, playing tea party, and playing outside. You also really like playing with bubbles and the water table. You can pass the time away getting your barbie doll all dirty with grass and mud and then washing her off in the water table, over and over again.

You try your hardest to keep up with Olivia's endless amount of energy. You've pretty much totally given up your afternoon naps. However, many days you end up just absolutely crashing on the floor in the late afternoon. You take many floor naps these days, sweetie. You are just so silly and make us giggle with you.

You love playing "I Spy", though, you often play like, " I spy my pumpkin!", giving away your spotted object in the first moment. You're just so adorable. You and Olivia pray every night before our dinner and I love hearing your prayers. Over the year it's changed from, "Sandwich, mac and cheese, amen" to "Thank you for our home, amen"... sometimes you add in things you see while you're praying, "... and thank you for our window, and kitchen, and mommy...etc".

You are such a doll baby and our family would not be complete without you in it. You are so, so, so deeply cherished and we will love you forever, sweet Juju! Happiest of birthdays to you, my love.
