Time to get Twitterpated

Because Spring is HERE! At least it's here in Savannah! Look at the flowers on the trees!

Emma had her second week of puppy classes this week. We got there early so I ate lunch in the car before we went in. Emma was so excited, she couldn't stand it. She kept running back and forth in the backseat whining. She did really well today! We got rid of the gentle leader and got a prong collar. It works really well! Yay!

Had to snap a shot of the fluffy golden retriever puppy!

Miguel, I saved you $150.00

I saved $150.00 by dying my own hair! And hopefully this will also save me $150.00 every three months! As I posted a while back, I got sick of always having roots so I went back to being a brunette. I liked the color a lot, but it was still lighter than my natural color. So, today, I literally went back to my roots. This will also make my husband happy because it means less money out of our wallets every couple of months.

Beautiful, I know. ;) Waiting for the color to soak in.

I've dyed my own hair before, but it never turns out right, so it was a risky move to attempt it on my own again. However, I think when I've done it before, I didn't like it more because it was the shock of going from really blonde to a dark brunette.

I bought an $8.00 box of hair color from Loréal Paris. I didn't take time picking out the brand, I just chose it because the color on the model looked like the color of my roots.

I think it turned out alright. Not too blotchy or anything. I'll try and take a picture with make-up on and my hair all done nicely so I can post one without looking ghostly pale and splotchy... but not today... I don't want to straighten my hair right after I colored it. We'll see if Miguel notices when he gets home....

With the mixture in my hair... waiting for 25 minutes
The color after I rinsed it out and it was still wet

Ta-Da! It's not as dark as it is in the picture on the box, but  I'm satisfied. =) Hopefully it won't fade too quickly!

It may be cloudy, but I'll take it

Just some pictures from our morning at Fort Pulaski. It's windy and cloudy here today, but I'm happy to get out of the house and let the dog run around. She is a sandy mess right now, and of course had to jump on the guest bed as soon as we got home, but hey, she's sleeping, so that makes me happy!

Boing! Look at that smile!

The Low Country is so pretty, even on cloudy days.
Run, Emma! Run! Get that energy out!
