Moving, Part 1

So I'm writing my first blog post in my new house! The house is really coming along and is feeling mostly set up, except we still have an ubsurd amount of stuff at the apartment. You never realize how much stuff you have until you move. Moving the rest over will be a lot of small load car trips. Bla. The dogs were a big help moving ;)

The dogs seem to be taking to the new house well. We are already establishing a new routine. We're also really loving being closer to the dog park. Cutting down on the drive time means longer time to spend actually playing at the park. Currently the dogs are both sleeping... YAY! The first couple of days we had Jack he stayed awake most of the day and 98% of the awake hours he spent trying to get Emma to play. So it's nice that he is actually getting enough energy out early in the day to take a nap.

I took lots of pictures the day of the move and will post a blog all about it complete with before and after pictures in a few days! It's so nice to be out of an apartment and in our own home! I'm so thankful for my hardworking husband who made this all possible!

Puppy Play In Pictures

Chase is a fun game!

Uh oh... Looks like Jack is a digger too!

Boing over to the water dish!
Kisses for Toby
Toby is 4 months old
But he is a brave little pup.

Emma likes to play hard then go hang out in a hole. Preferably one that she has dug.

Toby got a little dirty after Jack played with him... when Jack plays he likes to bite the other dog's head.

This toy was almost as big as Toby.

Brother and Sister chillin' at the park.

Ummm... hello drool.

Today I Thank God for...

Today I thank God for... THE KONG!

Thank God for whoever created the Kong! It has provided me with entertained puppies this afternoon and I am forever grateful!

Emma has a pink puppy strength and size kong and today I purchased a large, super tough kong for Jack. I also picked up some kong filling that comes in a can like whipped cream or cheese whiz. This stuff is much easier to use than trying to fill it with peanut butter.

I filled up both kongs and then handed the red one to Mr. Jack and the pink one to sweet Emma. They each licked their respective kongs for about a minute then had to see what the other dog had. So the switch happened.

It's funny watching Jack chew on Emma's kong. His jaw is so strong that the little hole for the treats gets squeezed almost all the way shut.

So happy for busy, happy puppies. Thank you Kong inventor! Today you are my hero! =)
