The guy who won seemed to be wayyyy ahead of everyone when he passed us. Apparently he is just a college kid who likes to run.

| One of the ladies who was keeping up with the male front runners. Apparently, the girl who won qualified for the olympics. |
After a little bit Miguel and I decided to head around the corner and down the street a little bit to see the band and the mile marker. The dogs were big helpers and cheered on the runners with us. We actually received a lot of comments on the dogs from the runners passing by. =)
We watched the runners for a little over two hours. It was super cold, especially for Miguel who dressed in shorts and a short sleeved shirt. But we still had a lot of fun. Someone cheered for my high school as they ran by because I was wearing a Wesleyan sweatshirt. Thought that was funny. We actually saw a lot of people from Atlanta running by. I even saw a guy I went to middle school with. He was up near the front too! But the highlight was definitely when we saw our friend Brandie run by! Way to go, Brandie!
| If I had just run 21 miles and had to run five more I definitely wouldn't look this happy or cute! |
Congrats to everyone who ran both the half and full marathon yesterday!!!
